Project Management

Contract
Administration

The most common cause of disputes is ‘poor contract management’.

The Contract Administrator (CA) is responsible for administering the terms of the building contract between the parties as well as ensuring good administrative practices are followed. We have the knowellage and skill to understand the relevant contractural provisions and know how to apply them, whilst acting in a manner which is independent, impartial and fair when making decisions.

The key services we provide include:

  • Regular inspection of the works
  • Issuing instructions for variations or change orders
  • Determining contractor’s applications for extension of time

Bills of Quantities

Our team of Quantity Surveyors produce complete and accurate quantities whilst identifying project risks and opprtunities.

We scrutinise all information contained within the tender documentation, whether it may be a requirement stated in a planning condition, report or other document – we will spot it.

Sustainability

As qualified and licensed BREEAM AP (Advisory Professional) We can undertake the BREEAM AP role to provide you with additional BREEAM credits plus the knowellage and assistance to meet all your BREEAM targets.

As quantity surveyors we can advise on the costs of alternative sustainable products or practices, undertake life cycle costs and option appraisals. We participate in the key design team meetings and offer advice as required to ensure that you will meet BREEAM targets and acheive credits.
